2010 WITC District Board Appointments

The board appointment application process has been re-opened for WITC Board member positions! Do you qualify?  Please review all links and dates provided.
 

Pursuant to the requirement of the WITC Board Appointment Committee's Plan of Representation, the WITC District Board is seeking applicants for the following three (3) board member positions in the WITC District:

   1) Employee Member, representing Region 5: Barron County
   2) Employer Member, representing Region 3: Rusk, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties
   3) Additional Member, representing the District

The appointments will be made in accordance with the Plan of Representation, which specifies categories of membership as well as geographic areas of representation within the district. Equal consideration is given to the general population distribution within the WITC District, as well as to the distribution of women and minorities.

  • Open Board Appointment Term: July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2013

  • Application Due Date: notarized applications are due no later than 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2010.

Board Appointment Committee Public Hearing/Meeting Information
  • Date/Time: Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at 10 a.m.
  • Location/Address: WITC-Administrative Office, 505 Pine Ridge Drive, Shell Lake, WI 54871
  • Requirements: Applicants must live in the WITC district, be present and interview at the public hearing/meeting, and have two letters of recommendation before interviewing.
